In 2011 we started supporting existing micro-credit organizations in India with financial expertise and implementation of systems.
The financial knowledge is contributed by Willi Brammertz, renowned specialist in the financial sector and president of the Foundation. In addition to many publications in professional journals and presentations at international meetings, he was first author of the book “Unified Financial Analysis – the missing links of finance” (Wiley 2009).
Highly successful was the “Buffalo Program” launched by our foundation. Midsize loans help financing buffaloes which are highly reliable animals fully suited to the Indian climate. They are profitable and the payback ratio is very high. Many farmers could – and still can – profit from this program.
